Helpful tips for a smooth start
- Double‑check your delivery address.
Before ordering, make sure your address in GoSolo is current to avoid delays. - Use your virtual card while you wait.
Your virtual card stays ready for online purchases and subscriptions; no downtime while the physical card is en route. - Activate and sign the card as instructed.
When your card arrives, follow the in‑pack or in‑app activation steps straight away and sign the back of the card. - Add it to your phone.
Don’t forget to add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for faster, secure tap‑to‑pay and online checkouts. - Keep details secure.
Never share your full card number, expiry date or security code. Be cautious of unsolicited requests by phone, email or text. - Know about temporary authorisations.
Some merchants (e.g. hotels, petrol stations, hire services) may place a temporary hold higher than the final amount. This is normal and usually clears automatically. - Travelling abroad?
If a terminal offers dynamic currency conversion, choosing to pay in the local currency often avoids extra conversion costs from the merchant’s side. - Lost or stolen card
Immediately freeze your card in the GoSolo app.
